The people here have been gone a very long time, but the wind abides. The windiest place I have found so far, and a spectacular view to BOOT from this HILL. Another small lonely cemetery I couldn't resist stopping for. Not much I could get from most stones, as the majority of them face into the wind and are eroded so much most of them are unreadable. Let your imagination conjure up what it must have been like here in those years as you gaze out over Letchworth State Park in the near distance to the north east and Genesee Valley a little further out. There is a confederate soldier buried here.
The cache is not near any of the stones, so there would be no reason to search in their vicinity. Cache container has been changed. It is now a waterproof matchstick container. Please be gentle when retrieving and replacing cache and PLEASE, PLEASE make sure you replace it properly. Thank you, and please be respectful of this serene place and don't come here after dark.
. Enjoy the view and your visit here and thanks for stopping by. BYOP
