Geocache Description:


Sometimes it's fun to place some caches when there's an event nearby and since we won't be able to make it to this event, I decided to provide some caching opportunities for some of the people attending.

This cache is located at a Vista Spot on Highway 4 on the way to Bear Valley and Lake Alpine. I love photography and have taken thousands of pictures. I'm not patient enough, however, to wait for perfect lighting. Sometimes I just get lucky and the pictures turn out great; other times I'm glad that I've converted to digital photography!

Photom, a cacher based in Merced, is a professional photographer and this cache provides a nice view of the canyon for him. I'd love to see other pictures from cachers who stop here as well.

Cache is an ammo can with trade items. You'll have to go down the hill a bit, but there's a small trail going pretty close to the cache site.
Please do not attempt this cache in the winter when there's snow...the difficulty and the terrain will be much more than 5 stars.

Please replace cache exactly as you found it.
