Geocache Description:

This is one of the series of caches set around the lovely village of Maeshafn.

A Working Landscape

For centuries this part of North Wales has played a major role in supplying limestone for building and road constuction.
Aberduna opened in 1951 on an outcrop of carboniferous limestone. The limestone seen today was formed about 300 million years ago by the shells and skeletons of many organisms which accumulated on the sea-bed and formed the scene today.

There are plenty of fences around BUT please take extra care with children and dogs, thanks.
I am afraid this is a cheeky small cache , no pencil/pen so please take one. Oh, and don't forget your tweezers .

Congratulations to our Mr FTF Phil (PhilPamAndRob) who was up with Lark. You would have thought he would have called around to The West Viewers to wake them up . He found all the series before 8.0am Well done Phil, back home to do the housework now
