1PATR10T: This was one of my favorite hides because of the historical marker, but I've been unable to maintain my existing hides the way I feel they should be. It is unfair to other more active cachers to leave this unattended and not allow someone else to put a more well-cared for cache in it's place.

Geocache Description:

Cache is located near a Historical Boulder on the North side of Holland.

24/7 P&G near a pretty cool Historical location.



Our new dog Sarge went on point as we drove by, so we went back and checked it out.

The first Pheasants in Michigan were released near this location over 110 years ago.
Today, pheasant hunting is a common sport in the fall in Michigan.
Being the beginning of small game season in Michigan, I think small game hunters should stop by here, learn a little history, and get a cache while they're at it :)

You're looking for a ground level lock-n-lock near the Boulder. No reason to leave the woodchipped area - but you may need to reach outside of it just a little.

Please be respectfull of the private property nearby.

There is high muggle activity, as this is a busy intersection
Watch for cars.
