Geocache Description:

Another hilltop cemetery in "The Holyland", the name given to this NE corner of Fond du Lac County.
The cluster of buildings at the entrance to the grounds is known as "St. Joe". The church began in 1858 when the trustees of St. Joseph's Religious Catholic Society bought 6 acres from Peter Brouer and Peter Berg. The church was not built until 7 years later.
The first person interred was Leonard Petri in 1864.

The container is not on nor near any markers. If a service of any kind is in progress, please return at a later time.

Congrats to TheRealEcologer/R.W. on their first FTF!!
