Geocache Description:

Just off the Railtrail

Most of the construction camps had rock ovens for baking and roasting.

The greatesty concentration of these ovens is in the Okannagan Simikameen district near Adra Tunnel west of Chute Lake.

The origin of this type of oven is European- some say Scandinavian and some say Tuscan (Italy).

Cache is an antique geocache container. It has 2 compartments, one for pencil, one for logbook
