2 Bridges! What's the Point? Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

Ngaambul: As there's been either no response from the cache owner, no cache to find or log to sign, I'm archiving it to keep it from continually showing up in search lists, and to prevent it from blocking other cache placements. If you wish to repair/replace/make available the cache sometime in the near future (next 30 days), just contact us (by email), and assuming it meets the current guidelines, we'll be happy to unarchive it.

Geocache Description:

This area is a beautiful spot with lovely scenery. Just a short walk from GZ you will be able to see the 2 Alford Point bridges.
Stelth is required as it is a residential area .

Alfords Point Bridge is one of three major road crossings of the Georges River. It was opened on the 7 September 1973. The bridge links Padstow Heights in the City of Bankstown to Alfords Point in the Sutherland Shire.
When the bridge was built, for some reason, the governement had the forethought to build piles and abutments next to it (downstream) for future duplication. The new bridge opened on 22 August 2008.

You will need to bring along your own pen.

There is also the added incentive to be FTF in the way of a geocoin....FTF...take it and move it along......

Good luck

PS. It has been hidden in this spot as when I tried to hide it in view of the bridges, I was not allowed to as it is part of the national park apparently.
