30' off the Longleaf Trace, in a canebrake.
The Longleaf Trace is a gently sloping former railway converted to a 41-mile walking/cycling trail as part of the Rails-to-Trails program. It currently runs from the college-town of Hattiesburg to to the smaller town of Prentiss, Mississippi.
There are several caches along the trace; this one is located near the southwest end. Original contents include log, four marbles and a European coin. Replaced 01/12/2009.
