We couldn’t help but ask “What’s your caboose doing there?” It
REALLY seems like a stange place to park it. There are no train
tracks anywhere near this location, but there sits a caboose. And,
it even has curtains!
We found this reference to the caboose dry docked across the street: From Railfan site : Shingle Springs, CA SP no markings, steel, cupola,
Class C-30-1, 4790 Green Valley Road ...
