Al final de la Segona Guerra Mundial, l'exèrcit espanyol va començar a construir una impressionant línia fortificada al llarg dels Pirineus, des del cap de Creus fins al País Basc. En un context internacional hostil contra els règims feixistes, la dictadura de Franco temia una hipotètica invasió de les forces aliades. Per això va portar a terme una obra de gran envergadura (difícil de suportar en un país devastat encara per una recent guerra civil) que consta de gairebé de deu mil búnquers, una línia similar a les que les principals potències havien construït per defensar les seves fronteres, com va fer Mussolini als Alps.
La proposta es visitar tres dels búnquers que vigilaven la vall d'Aneu.



Deixeu la carretera principal al entrar a La Guingueta d'Aneu al punt N42º 35.615' E001º 07.925' i podeu aparcar a N42º 35.612' E001º 08.027'.



A la pared de la muntanya que teniu davant veureu el primer búnquer que podeu entrar per N42º 35.614' E001º 08.037', trobareu les coordenades del segon búnquer al baixar les escales a la dreta en el sostre de un forat que hi ha.



En els altres búnquers les coordenades estan escrites en racons de les parets o el sostre.
