Elterwater goes a long way back in the history of Mr and Mrs Fred the Red.If you look down at Elterwater from the cache site ,the large building in the foreground covered in vegetation is the house where we spent much of our honeymoon.We have been returning to the Lake District on a regular basis ever since and two or three years ago started afresh on doing "The Wainwrights"-all 214 peaks in the guide books by AW. At the time of writing we have done 174
Update 4th Sept 2010--- we've now completed all 214! Last one - Harrison Stickle just up the road from the cache .
