Geocache Description:

Det kan anbefales at gå den smukke tur i bunden af kløften langs bækken, men da siderne er meget stejle, har man ofte ikke andet valg end at gå i vandet. Derfor er gummistøvler eller vandtætte vandrestøvler obligatoriske. Hvis man går direkte til cachen skulle ikke-vandtæt fodtøj være ok.

I bunden af djævlekløften løber Vagtmesterbækken, navnet skyldes angiveligt at en vagtmester kom af dage her i 1735 efter at have beslaglagt en kedel, der kunne bruges til brændevinsfremstilling fra en bonde.

I foråret 2005 har kommunen anlagt en ny bro over kløften, idet den gamle bro efter 30 - 40 års tro tjeneste var udskiftningsmoden.
