Geocache Description:

This cache is located along one of the new Waihi Wailkways; a well formed purpose built gravel path.

This is a very, very small micro-cache, no room for anything inside except the log - so don't forget to bring a pen with you. The cache is kept in place with a length of chain.

I would suggest you park at the netball club carpark, so as to enjoy a lovely (but short) walking track to the cahce site. You'll pass through the splendid bamboo corridor. You could take a short detour on the way (narrow track on your left after the bamboo corridor) to see the stream (possibly used as an old water race?).
