Geocache Description:

Cache IS at the posted coords, read below to see the requirements you need to meet.

This is a cache I've been meaning to put out for a while, with the honored cacher approaching 2000 finds it seemed as good a time as any!

If you have ever cached in Dowagiac, MI or anywhere within a 50 mile radius for that matter, you have no doubt come across a number of kalkavekkian hides. Until he joined GC.com in 2008, Cass county and many surrounding counties were pretty bare of caches. Once he started hiding though, he showed me a TON of areas only miles from home that I never knew existed. As I write this, Mike currently has hidden a whopping 223 and counting caches! His hides range as far east as Three Rivers and as far west as New Buffalo. I've even found some in Northern Indiana a few times. No matter what kind of cache you like, Mike seems to have hidden it all, from easy and difficult traditionals, headache-inducing puzzles, high-terrain multis and of course, the hair-pulling micro!

Having so many caches hidden by one person gives me the unique opportunity to hide a user-specific challenge: To log a find on this cache, you must have found 100 kalkavekkian caches!

All kalkavekkian caches count including all of your previous finds on k caches do count so you don't have to worry about starting from zero. I know there are cachers out there that already qualify or are close to it. kalkavekkian of course, can go out and find this without worrying about displaying anything since he is the honored cacher! You can choose to display you have met the requirements however you choose, bookmark, screencap, etc... I recommend running a Pocket Query of all your finds through the findstats macro of gsak and grabbing a screencap of your number of k finds as I have demonstrated below:

The cache itself is hidden in Russ Forest County park, which puts it approximately in the middle of all of the nearly 50 mile radius of his hides. You are looking for a ammocan hidden in a traditional manner.

Big thanks go to Moldslug for sharing this challenge idea with me!

Congrats kalkavekkian on 2000 finds! (Even if this is published a little early) Be sure to thank Mike next time you see him for all of his contributions to the caching community!

In case curious folk were wondering why this is an older GC code for a newer cache, I recycled this page from a cache page I put together but never actually hid, felt like I needed to make use of this page one of these days right?
