We are replacing our first cache, one that we planted in honor
of our 200th find. We hope you enjoy it as much as the first one.
We decided to keep the theme of cars so please try to stick with
this theme. We have many items in there to kick start it.
Our first cache nearly made it a whole year and we would like
this one to last much longer. So, due to muggles, bushwacking IS
required in the hopes that the cache will be kept safer. If you
approach from below the cache location you should be able to get to
it with little to no trampling of vegetation. You will have to go
about 100 feet up the hillside from the trail, hence the terrain
and difficulty rating.
It is always a good idea to have enough daylight when in these
types of forests. And also, for those of you who don't already
know, it rains here in Oregon, which means muddy and slippery
trails. Wear your good trail shoes.
Coordinates were averaged due to tree cover. The trail off the
main path is for pedestrians only, however, there is an abundance
of trees where you could lock your bike up.
We’ve included a FTF gift that is
somewhat car related. And also please cover the cache back up
with its moss blanket.
