Geocache Description:

JoKyengDan

waterproof Lock & Lock plastic Box. Log book, Pen and some items By deciding the present site as a tomb of the founder of the Jeonju Lee Family, and building up a stairs and erecting a monument on it, Daehan Jogyeongdan was established in May of the 3rd year of Gwangmu (1899). The walls of Jogyeongdan were built with rectangular stones, and there are east, west, south, and north gates. On a straight line with the west gate is the main gate, and 20m away from the south gate is the monument. The monument, made of marble, is 180cm in width, 30cm in thickness, and 202cm in height. On the front, the name Daehan Jogyeongdan written by King Gojong himself is carved. Pavilion for a monument is a square with 7.2m in side length and with a 3 kan octagonal roof.
