Welcome to Pleasant View Cemetery in Mason, New
Hampshire.
Since I started geocaching I have enjoyed some nice geocaches on or
near old cemeteries. I love to stroll around the old headstones and
to read the names and maybe discover an interesting story.
Between the ca. 200 to 300 graves you'll find some unique tomb
stones. One memorial stone is from Henry Dunster, first president
of Harvard College. His family is buried here in the grounds. There
are also some old stones from men who went to fight at Bunker Hill
and never returned. But the most eerie stone is from little
Johnnie.

AT REST
Parking can be found near the red brick building at the gate of the
cemetery. The cache is a little round camouflaged container. It
contains only a log, a pencil and a lucky penny. It is hidden
outside of the cemetery and it is very winter friendly.
Please respect the graves! There is no need to move any stones, the
cache is not hidden in the rock wall. And please hide the cache as
you found it.
Good luck, have fun and enjoy the pleasant view!
