Geocache Description:

Easy to reach cache in a lock & lock container. A short walk from the parking area. Be sure to read the inscriptions on the natural stones.

This area is rich in history and was used by the Confederate soldiers of Polk County. Polk County, Tennessee had the largest number of enlistee's into the Confederate Army during the Civil War. These soldiers used this and many areas near by during the war. Be sure to read the inscriptions on the stones located in this area. The names of some of the soldiers using this area are present. Bring your camera and be sure to stop at the many overviews to view this picturesque area. You won't want to miss the breathtaking views. This is our 2nd cache. We have included many trade items for the young and old alike.
