Cache is a screw top tube about 4inches in length containing a log and pen. Placed in a neat little picnic area near Cargan. not particularly wheelchair friendly as paths have begun to disappear over the years.
Lovely little wooded area with paths leading circularly to the river. There are picnic tables if you want to enjoy a snack and bins are provided!! Enjoy the walk down to the river while you are there and read the notice board, it’s very informative concerning the mine workings and old railway lines in the area which provided work in this part of the country in bygone years.
