A nice walk along the Shenipsit trail in Ellington. One of the CT
Blue trails, this one starts in Cobalt and goes thru Marlboro,
Glastonbury, and Manchester. It gets a little lost in Vernon but
finally picks up again here and winds thru Somers to the MA line.
Park at either 41 54.561, 072 24.791 or 41 54.994, 072 25.571. Be
careful not to park anywhere near the stone wall on Grahaber Rd
near Stick it. Your car will get towed there. Apparently many
people have had an issue there. Park across the street from the
wall or to the left of the blue trail entrance (looking north) To
get the bonus, get numbers out of the other caches in the series
41,54.ABC, 072 25.DEF.
