Knock Mary Traditional Cache

This pleasant walk affords a variety of views of the Strathearn valley and surrounding hills as it gently ascends through woodland towards Knock Mary.
A hill overlooking Crieff and Loch of Balloch, this made for a very pleasant stroll through a mixture of woodland trees and cleared forest with a well defined path until you reach Knock Mary for the final climb to the cache. This was muddy in places, so care is required with some good boots. There are stunning views along the way.
Due to the dense tree cover and variable GPS signal the cache is not located at the summit but at the obvious spot to assist with finding it.
The cache is medium size lock and lock with the usual log book and swaps.
