Before entering the Trigrad Gorge, the Trigradska River falls into
the Dyavolskoto Gurlo (Devil’s Throat) - a fantastic cave, where,
along the following 7000 metres, the water forms some 18 waterfalls
and passing through the enormous Roaring Hall exits into the
canyon. In the past, this natural phenomenon precipitated many
legends. One of the legends has it that; Orpheus - the god of
music, traveled to the underground world to save his fiancee named
Evridika from the god of the death called Hades. Many sacrifice
were done in this cave, even young virgin were sacrificed to the
god of deaths in this cave. The cache is near to the tourist exit
(natural entrance) of "Devil's Throat" cave. And also it is beside
the road to Trigrad.
