Cache is found on the North Granite Ridge.A very long hike so be sure to bring a snack and some water.As there is a swamp and a river to cross,think twice on bushwacking to it.
Since my first day of caching,I've always been a fan of the Red Fox Raiders and there dog Molly.She was always there to warn her owners that other cachers were trying to sneak up steall a FTF or grab the cache from there clutches.Im sure most of us have had the pleasure of caching with them or just being out cached by them.I know I have.
With over 2000 finds,Im sure most can be attributed to Molly's keen sences.
It was with a sad heart that I learned the other day that Molly had passed away after a long hard fight.I know she will be missed by her owners and the local geocachers.
With that being said,I thought this would be a great way to celebrate Molly by placing a cache for her and the RFRs along this trail.
Be sure to take some time and enjoy the area and remember that caching is not only about the finds its about the friends we have found.
