Geocache Description:


This is the 3rd in a series of "Cody Caches" relating to fire safety. There is a different Cody trading card in each one, be sure to collect them ALL!

The Fire Safety Fever – Catch It With Cody program delivers basic fire safety and wildland fire prevention messages using a Dalmatian named Cody to interact with audiences. These messages include:
• Install and Test Smoke Detectors
• Crawl Low Under Smoke
• Stop, Drop, and Roll
• Dial 9-1-1 in case of emergency
• Have a Designated Meeting Place

Cody also knows the importance of protecting your home from wildfire. Providing defensible space, planting fire-resistive plants, and having an escape plan is important if you live in an urban wildland interface area. Cody has left some info in this cache to help you prepare.
