This is another cache in my Faded Markers Series. This series will mainly focus on older, near forgotten burial plots of pioneers in the Niagara Region and beyond. The goal of this series is not necessarily the length of the walk nor the difficulty of the find, but rather a simple reverence for those who came before us to shape our area.
I was driving by this cemetary and couldn't resist placing a cache here. I found 8 very old markers, some still standing, some on the ground, some broken off at the ground.
It seems as though it was an Irvine Cemetary as there are a couple members of the family interred here, and the nearby road is called Irvine.
Cache is a camo'd 35mm film canister with no pen.
