Geocache Description:

You can find the cache near the No10 lake it is one of lakes of sources of Kapos river. Twin cache: Kapos Omega CG1GKAN (Mouth of Kapos river)

Kapos Alpha

My town, Kaposvár is situated in the valley of Kapos river (Kaposvár means Castle on Kapos). Although Kapos is a narrow spring in Kaposvár yet, we esteem it highly as the main river of our county (Somogy).
The length of Kapos is 111 kms only. You know there aren’t many rivers those have both the spring and the mouth in the present-day territory of Hungary.
You can find the region of sources of Kapos near the No61 highway in Kiskorpád village it is near Kaposvár.
You can find 9 pcs of retained water lakes those are formed from sources of Kapos, but there are no visible springs because the water oozes from the earth beneath of present water level of lakes.
How to find the cache?
You drive on No61 highway. At the Kiskorpád railway level crossing barrier you will drive in the direction of Gige village. You drive while you find the Kiskorpád triangle ground-plan Calvinist church; you leave it and you turn right at the nearest street. You drive to the country tavern (csárda) named Villa Curpad. You find the Szigetes-horgásztó (Szigetes-angler-lake it was No8&9 lakes earlier but it is one lake now) here: N46° 20,689’ E17° 36,433’ and you can walk on the barrage of lake across the bar and you will walk to the No10 fish-pond.
The cache is hidden on the ridge of a little hill it is near No10 lake.
