Geocache Description:

This is in a camo drink mix container. It does have typical trade swag and a gold dollar for the FTF. Pencil even included!!

This cache is in the Pere Marquette State Forest. Humphrey was on the Arcadia and Betsie Railroad. The village was probably named after a Captain Humphrey who visited the mouth of the Manistee River in 1833 with intentions of setting up a mill, but he abandoned the project.

Across the street, on the opposite side was Hale Corners.So, those who are hale and hearty can get two ghosttowns with only 1 trip! Happy haunting!
