This is a quart mayonnaise jar, covered with camo. Lots of good trade items and a gold dollar for the FTF.Stealth may be needed. If there are lots or vehicles around, please come back another day.
In 1877, this was on the mail stage route from Manistee to Manton (hence the name). In 1910, the population was under 100, and by 1918 had dropped to 30.
There were two general stores, R.F.Danville(lumberman and horse dealer),grain elevator, realestate office and blacksmith shop.
It was named Marilla because that was the name of the daughter of the man who donated land for the school and township offices.
It was located on the Manistee and Northeastern Railroad.
