Have fun finding this one in a pioneer
cemetery.
This Pioneer Cemetery was a
gift of Lewis J Clement. U.E. Loyalist 1837. We are introducing a
series of caches called "Restin'" in the area west of Lake Simcoe.
We recently visited a series of caches like this East of the Lake
and enjoyed the history we hope you do too.
We realize that "Cemetery Caches" are not for everyone, so if this
is not for you we have lots of other caches close by for you to
seek. This cemetery was restored and registered by the Churchill
W.I. in 1926. It contains history back to 1840s according to
headstone dates. Lovely view to the NW of rolling hills and a great
view of the sunset on clear days. The Lilac blossom is fabulous in
the Spring.
Please respect this resting place as you explore the history. The
container is small, containing only a log book so please bring your
own pencil/pen.
