Bonnie Brae Bucket Cache Traditional Cache

Poldark: Unfortunately this cache has to be archived after many years of faithful service. Following divorce, the property has been sold and the new owner does not wish to maintain a cache on the property. Fortunately there were no trackables logged in at this time, so I have removed the cache and distributed the contents into other caches around the area.

Thank you to everyone who engaged with this cache, I enjoyed reading the stories of your visits and had a giggle at the beach gear dropped off or picked up depending on which way you were headed.

Geocache Description:

A simple drive by that's easier to do on the way home from the coast, rather than on the way there. If you do choose to do it on the way, please be careful when crossing the road - remember that this is a major highway and vehicles will be travelling up to 100 kph (unless it is us in the tractor, then we'll be moving at 16 kph).

This cache replaces our Bonnie Brae Ghost Writer cache which sadly had to bite the dust when the high winds in the area broke one of the key signs at WP1. We have decided to place a cache near this spot so that there is a little parking area off the highway for stopping at.

The cache is carefully balanced at the back of the paling fence and there should be no need to remove it - simply pull the lid off to access the goodies inside.

On a good day you may meet some of the Bonnie Brae goats or maybe even Dillon or Topaz, our alpacas, as they like to sunbake near the front fence.

May the ghost of caches past watch over you to ensure a safe journey along this highway and happy caching!
