Geocache Description:

A cache near an interesting creek in Coppell with an interesting recent history.

I created this cache in honor of the infamous Coppell Cougar sighting. In the early morning hours of July 12, 2008, a Coppell resident saw a cougar crossing Beltline Road near Mockingbird. The resident called the local police to report his sighting. Over the next couple days traps were put out, the Texas Parks and Wildlife Department was called in to examine some suspicious footprints and flyers were posted in the neighborhood. (In addition to all kinds of lame jokes about the abundance of other kinds of cougars living in Coppell). A few days later - the tracks were attributed to a large canine. However, the resident remains steadfast in his claim that he saw a Mountain Lion that was approximately 5 ft long with a tail almost as long.

You are looking for a bison tube that is in plain site depending on your angle of approach - bring your own writing device.
