Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
This cache IS at the above coordinates. See below for additional
requirements. May be hard to grab during weekday hours but on the
weekend, should have all the time in the world to look. Small cache
container which holds a log and very small items. BYOP.
I saw the idea for this cache after reviewing some out-of-state
caches and just loved the concept. Emailed the hider to "steal" the
idea and he was fine with it (thanks Goat Haunt). So to get to the
point of this cache. Many people, for whatever reason, do not like
to log their DNFs. I love to have DNFs listed because it lets me
know something may be wrong and gives me a clue to check up on my
caches. So I thought maybe a bit of an incentive is in order to log
all your DNFs. So to get the nice smiley for this cache, you must
send proof of your DNFs from geocaching.com. The original hider
requested 100 DNFs but I am moving it down to 50 so some of the
newer cachers can participate. So again, to get credit, you must
show proof of at least 50 DNFs!
So how do you provide proof you say?
Well, you can go to "My Account" and access the DNF page for all of
your caches. Make sure the number shows on the screen as well as
your screen name if possible. Right click on the page and select
"Copy Background." Open up Microsoft Paint (or some other photo
editing program) and paste it into the program. Save this file and
then upload it into the logs just like any other photo. You can
also right click on the page and select the "Email to a friend"
option, and then email it to us (if you don't want to post it in
your logs). Happy caching all!
