Just south of Mt. Vernon, S.D. are the remains of a long gone era.
One room country schools are a thing of the past, but some of the
students that attended them aren't. Somebody has been keeping whats
left of this school and its property up pretty well. A few relics
are scattered around here to remind others of what it had to
offer.
Placed near the old country school remains. This cache is a camo'd
container with a logbook, there's room for trade items. Please post
as many pictures of this country school as possible.
Another interesting POI is an old cemetary that a .5 mile to the west. The
placement of this one is a little different.
