Cornish Mining Disasters Part 1

Wheal Owles was where one of worst mining disasters in cornwall took place where miners drilled into exsisting flooded mine workings. The event happen on 12 Jan 1893 and 19 men and boy lost there lives and there bodies are still entombed within the mine to this date. The cache is situated within the Wheal Owles ENGINE HOUSE.
