Wo heute nur noch eine Wiese ist, stand jahrhundertelang eine Windmühle, die nicht nur Korn mahlte, sondern auch als Seezeichen diente. Mit etwas Phantasie kann man sie vor dem inneren Auge wiederauferstehen lassen. Schräg gegenüber gibt es Kaffee und leckeren Kuchen, gleich um die Ecke kann man einkaufen (und parken!) und zum Strand ist es auch nicht weit.
Im Jahr 1521 erbaut, hielt die Mühle 416 Jahre lang durch. Aufgrund massiven Holzwurmbefalls war sie schließlich nicht mehr zu retten, obwohl sie unter Denkmalschutz stand. 1936 kaufte die Stadt Cuxhaven das Grundstück, 1937 wurde die Mühle gesprengt und der Mühlenhügel abgetragen. Vielleicht soll die Mühle demnächst wieder originalgetreu aufgebaut werden. An einer Ecke des Platzes stehen immerhin schonmal alte Mühlsteine, außerdem sind welche in das Haus der Konditorei eingebaut.
Der Cache ist ein Erstlingswerk, hat inwzischen aber schon einige Hilfe bekommen (siehe Nachtrag). Ich bitte trotzdem immer noch um etwas Nachsicht, irgendwie muß man ja mal anfangen.
Das Terrain ist problemlos aber - JETZT LEIDER NICHT MEHR BARRIEREFREI - zugänglich, die Schwierigkeit schätze ich wegen der hohen Muggeldichte auf zwei Sterne. Das Versteck sollte hoffentlich keine großen Probleme machen. Es könnte allerdings etwas empfindlich sein, bitte geht sanft damit um und präpariert alles wieder so wie vorgefunden.
Ich empfehle, bei Dunkelheit zu suchen.

Today just plain grass, for centuries this spot featured a windmill that served not just as a mill but as navigational aid as well. Employ a little bit of imagination to let it resurge before your mind's eye. You may have a coffee and a tasty piece of cake across the street, or buy groceries around the corner, where you can park your car, too. Finally, the strand is only a short walk from the cache.
Built in 1521, the mill survived the following 416 years. Due to massive timberworm infestation, finally it could not be saved although declared a historic monument. In 1936, the municipality of Cuxhaven bought the estate, in 1937 it was blown up and the "mill-hill" ablated. Plans exist to rebuild the mill true to original, but have not been enacted yet. One corner of the square at least displays a couple of old millstones, furthermore some are built into the wall of the pastry shop.
It's my first-time hiding, so please be lenient :) Meanwhile I got a lot of help, see amendment.
The terrain is easy BUT NOT LONGER BARRIER-FREE. Anyway you should be highly aware of muggles, which explains the two-star difficulty rating. The hiding-place itself should cause no (bigger) problems, but might be easily damageable, so please be careful and prepare anything as you've found it.
I recommend searching in the dark.
