A great Spring, Summer or Fall find. Elev is high at 6114 ft.Easy walk from turn-out area.
This cache is in an area where the granite slopes may put you on your rear if approached from the wrong direction. This is a beautiful hiking area in the Eldorado National Forest with many trailheads to seek. The area where this cache is located is about a ¼ mile west of the main Pyramid Creek Trailhead on the opposite side of the hwy and is approximately 7 miles west of Echo Summit. Good Luck, watch for some poison oak in the area and don't slip on the loose granite.
