This is a small Ammo can; you can drive up to 10 feet from the cache. A fun little cache for the whole family. Some items might be a choking hazard for the youngest so choose wisely for the little ones.
This is a twofold tribute to the gambling history of the area, and the sub theme is for the snakes around the area. I saw one when putting the cache out and I'm pretty sure you will see one if you look around enough. Because of the sub theme one of the original items is a package of rattle snake eggs.
Take a look around, you are near "Hot Hole Hill" a place where the brave or crazy have been testing the climbing ability of their 4X4s since they were first produced. I can remember when it was quite a ways out of town.
It is named for the natural hot spring, locally known as "The Hot Hole"
The legends are many and horrible. I believed them when I was young and have come to understand that most are not true and were told to instill fear and respect for the hot water. It worked, and still does. Not one of my friends has ever crossed the fence and played in that water!
