Rest Stop at Rossport Park Traditional Cache

The Marathon Man: As I came back from Thunder Bay to Marathon yesterday afternoon, I noticed that the road construction to put in passing lanes is well underway

I also noticed that the tree where the cache was is gone along with a lot of the rest stop and the cache container. Tree line has moved a good distance from the highway.

The cache has been in place for 11 and half years and 271 finds - time to Archive.
When the construction is finished I wiill probably put out a new cache in this area

Geocache Description:

Located at a Rest Stop East of Rossport

The cache, a small camouflaged pill container is located at a Rest Stop along the Trans-Canada Highway 17.

You will have to walk over the rocks for a short distance to the cache location.
