Survival Cache Traditional Cache
Please note Use of geocaching.com services is subject to the terms and conditions
in our disclaimer.
You leave HWY 65 West on Paynes Road, N 47 40.246 W 080 14.803. From there, you can park at N 47 70.230 W 080 14.803. You can drive in from here, but there is no turn around. This is an easy walk if you choose to park. In winter it is accessible by snow machine via the Montreal River. Or, you can take the route listed, but must have a OFSC trail pass. Alternatively, you can snowshoe or ski in.
The structure at the cache site is a pillar of "survival". We believe it was built in 1913 when our research tells us the O.N.R. was first run from Earlton to Elk Lake.
The cache is a clear tupperware container 4.5" x 6.5" x 3.5"

1 pack of toe warmers
