The Mysterious Tree Stump Traditional Cache

This cache has been archived.

jgstef: I am afraid I am going to have to archive this one as well. Not only is the cache gone but so is the hiding place. Either some trail volunteers were here or someone decided to clean house. The Letterbox is still here so if you like Letterboxing have fun! The cache has run it's course. Hope others will place caches on the trail.

Geocache Description:

This should be a quick cache and dash along the Hazleton Rails to Trails trail.

There is a story to this cache. When you approach the area you will notice a mysterious tree stump. Different figures have appeared in this stump over time. We have no idea who has been placing these items here. Perhaps a gnome? When you see the stump you will know the cache is close by. There is a logbook with pen and pencil. In addition, there are some trade items. Please hide the cache as you found it. It is close to the trail and it does need to be concealed.
Please also be aware there is a Letterbox in the same area called Tree Series Part 1. My cache is clearly labeled Geocache but you certainly can go for a two fer if you like Letterboxes!
