Geocache Description:

This is a series of 8 regular sized caches placed to celebrate that Jaypit & Rocky have made it to 2000 finds!! We know that they enjoy a nice walk in the woods and because we have some great topo software, we put it to use to find a nice hike in Morgan Monroe for them. The parking coords take you to a gate and a small parking area. The firetrail goes east from there and you will be 1.75 miles from the 8th cache. This is not a loop trail so your round trip will be slightly over 3.5 miles. This is a fairly level walk but there are several creek crossings. When we placed the caches, the creek was for the most part dried up with a few small pools of water still remaining. When the creek is up and running, we wouldn't recommend attempting these crossings. Caches 1, 2, and 3 are off the fire trail but the rest are very close to it. The great part of these caches is that in placing these caches, I don't think we ever ran into any sticker bushes. Hooray!! We thought this was a beautiful area and we hope others will enjoy it as well. And don't forget to congratulate Jaypit and Rocky!!!

Another 1/2 gallon thermos at this spot.
