Another cache off the Pineapple Walkway with a fantastic view, and away from muggles. Be aware that wild pigs may be active in the area, their rooting in the grass has made footing uneven in places.
Walk up the Pineapple track from Booth Road to the top of the bushline before taking a walk across the grass to the high point at the edge of the bush. Admire the view from this point before going to down to the bottom of the clearing, well out of sight of mugglers here. You are looking for the site of an old scout bivouac just inside the bushes. There is an incomplete circle of stones for a fireplace, and the timber remains of an overhead shelter. The cache is a 2L screw top container and contains a few small swaps, logbook, pen, pencil and sharpener . There is room for more swaps and bugs.
