Pen Hill Mendip transmitter supplys analogue and digital TV. It stands on the ground at an elevation of 305m. The Mast itself is 281m tall, thus reaching 586m.
Some great views around here to wells, and on a clear day, you can see the blackdown hills, Quantock hills and Brendon hills.
The terrain to the cache can be a tad muddy, and you may also come across some livestock being cows or sheep. When placing the cache i had cows around so i kept the dog on the lead.
The cache is located approximately 1/2 mile from suggested parking.
Cache is a 1 litre clip lock container, which to start with contains logbook, stash card, pencil with rubber, pencil sharpener, star design caribiner clip, smiley face fridge magnet, red mini (not a real one!!), couple of kinder egg toys, 4 pack of assorted coloured balloons, washing tablet net, FTF pin badge, and Travelling Trevor Travel Bug.
Please re-camoflauge when placing back.
