New: I visited this cache to replace it on it's 17th birthday -t was our second hide and is almost ancient. I don't know if people take their dogs back here anymore now that there are running trails, but it sure was fun then.
You don’t have to have a dog to find this cache, but you’ll have more fun if you do! The Standing Rocks Dog Park consists of both fenced and unfenced areas with mown trails, interesting smells, new playmates for your furry best friend plus fine scenery and a geocache for you. Humans may enjoy the trails for free, but dogs need to pay ($4.00 in 2022). Leashes are required in the parking lot. IMPORTANT NOTE: The park is closed during deer hunting gun season. First pup to find earns a gift certificate for The Companion Shop. Second and third prizes are squeaky bones. Parking coordinates: 44.25.847, 089.24.228. THIS IS A DOG THEMED CACHE. There is room for small trading items, but please, no edible treats or scented toys that could attract wild animals. Any travelbugs and coins are welcome. Please be careful to rehide the cache as you found it. Extra tail wags if you post a picture of your own geopup in the gallery!
