Geocache Description:

This cache is located in a park in Port Sheldon. This is part of the Ottawa County park system. Please park at the designated parking lot. There is a map located in the parking lot. While you are on your hike you will see the trails are not marked at this time. Trails are a bit rough at times with sand in some areas. I would not recommend strollers or bikes. Area is rolling at times with small hills, young hardwoods and pine forest.

This cache is a regular size screw top container spray painted natural outdoor color. Hope you find lots of Luke's swag from his first year of geocaching.

This park is not known by many people and has been explored by few people. We hope that you enjoy exploring this area and add it to your list of places to walk and explore nature. You might be lucky to see some deer and turkeys if you are quiet while hiking.

CAUTION Deer hunting area in October - December and Spring Turkey seasons. This area is a bow only -NO FIREARMS allowed. Please be respectful if you are coming into the area early morning and evening.
