Geocache Description:

2/6/2013 Checked on cache, bridge open, enjoy the find, and the new fitness trail.

The Kintai Bridge ( Kintai-kyo?) is an arch bridge in the city of Iwakuni, in Yamaguchi Prefecture, Japan. It spans the Nishiki River in a series of five wooden arches. The original dates from 1673, but flooding from a typhoon destroyed it in 1950. The 1953 reconstruction, with partial restorations in 2001 and 2004, stands today.
