25 minute drive from Creston. Terrain may by slippery when wet.
An approximate 25 minute scenic drive from down town Creston will bring you to the site of the Twin Peaks caches. Parking is available on Reclamation Rd just beside the start of the Twin Peaks #1 cache or turn on to Granary Rd and pull off to the side just around the corner.
Each of the Twin Peak caches contain a map to a petroglyph (Native American paintings) near the respective cache. PLEASE LEAVE THE MAP IN THE CACHE.
The terrain may be slippery after a rain or in early spring and pine needles and moss cover most surfaces so sure footing is a must.
Bring a camera and while at each peak enjoy the scenic view of the Creston Valley. Mid summer offers a sea of yellow Canola and endless fields of corn and if your lucky you might catch a glimpse of some of the wildlife which inhabits the area.
