I've always thought there should be a cache in the area since so
many people pass through this place on a weekly basis. Found a
perfect place across the street. Whether waiting for a train or a
concert this should prove to be an easy find for locals and
tourists alike. I've also named it 33 for the great Knicks center
Patrick Ewing who wore the number 33. The Rangers who won the
Stanley Cup in 1933 (not in this building though). 33rd street
(which should be renamed "Patrick Ewing Way" someday) which borders
the Garden and the cache. (And my 33rd birthday when I released
this cache :))
Watch out for "locals" (double-meaning) and security cams. It is
right out of view of the cams. Please make sure lid is sealed
tight. Can be an odd fit.
Please also make sure to be somewhat stealthy. Cache is hard to
retrieve and replace without being noticed. So use the old
cellphone use tricks.
Area is wheelchair accessible but cache is not.
Sign states its open from 7am to 7pm, so go before your MSG
event.
This is a lot tougher in the Summer months and nice days. Probably
3-star muggle factor in the summer. Easy in the Winter.
