ganurse: Checked on this missing cache and it has washed up...DRAT!! I seem to have a lot of caches in Hawaii totally disappear (and quickly at that).

Geocache Description:

On 2/22/08, Mehune Man (Jeff) hosted a wonderful meet & greet event, GC1JZTE. Actually, it turned out to be a eat (lots of food) & bake (roast in the sun) event...but, everyone had a blast avoiding the waves and just spending some time together.

During this event, I hid a temporary cache that had a pathtag that was specially-designed for the event. It turned out that this was a fabulous area to turn the cache over to a permanent cache location. PLUS, the remaining pathtags are in the cache....with some swag, of course.

You can now only obtain this pathtag by attending the event OR hunting the cache (while there is still extra there) OR finding someone with the tag and trading for it (see picture of the tag).

While you may enjoy the boogie-boarding of the area, shoes are recommended in hunting this cache. Once you park your vehicle, make your way down to the beach, near the lifeguard station. Approach the cache from the beach-side NOT the road-side.
