Quick cache in arborg
As you enter into the Heritage Village, you will see a display of some machinery used in early times. There is a horse drawn rake, horse drawn hay cutting mower, early McCormick threshing machine , and a horse drawn road grader. Gangs of farmers would work together at threshing time. They would usually gather all the sheaths of grain, bring them in to where the thresher was set up and then feed the grain into the machine as live horse power was used to make the machine work. A bit different concept to now a days with the state of the art combines threshing the fields.
